oppsss... it's the last day of 2008 and i was quite determined to do something memorable today... like... touching my piano after like how many years and finally get into the car, put on the triangle plate and at least drive to northpoint!! haha...

but looks like my plans are gg down the drain.. hehe... gg to be a busy day though... out with kat for lunch since she is in spore!! last week met up with mark, kevin, wilson, chanyi, david, ashley and her bf for a nice meetup since they came down frm Kl and JB... :) it's kat and her family's turn this time round to be here on the sunny island...:) too bad the spore flyer broke down on the 23rd dec so one less attraction to experience...normally i wld be in KL in january (i might still go though..hehe)..but this year the tables are turned:0 it's a but hard tht i still dont dare drive though... sighs...therefore my tour guide duties-a bit difficult...

been three days since our weekend getaway to bangkok too:)been five years since i last went there, but bangkok is certainly a a happening city. the many huge shopping centres close at midnight and after they whole day of shopping and rushing around with the madding crowd, u can always head for a local full body/foot thai massage... emm... winding down... :)

love their small shops, the night bazzar, the weekend market, the huge departmental stores... my mom always say spore is too crowded, but bangkok is like 2-3 times more crowded... but i guess it was the christmas period and so everyone is out shopping... good thing:0 there were many huge sales too !! HAHA..:) cheap and nice, plus the seafood there was so yummy! i looked forward to each dinner as we indulge in huge big head prawns, huge fish, tom yum soup, papaya salad etc... my fav. food:) sour, hot and spicy, just the way i like it! haha...

went to the four-face buddha which was supposedly very 'ling'... haha..:) may my wishes come true:) yays..weekend getaways can be so fun:) haha...

it's gg to be another nosiy gathering at my palce again tonight:) happy 2009 soon.. i have a feeling of dread though... the big '2' is coming to town.. LOL... just another year older.. hopefully wiser...
