haven blogged for a while. :)

cny was fun:)
i love family gatherings no matter how naggy the relatives can be.haha.
all the fun, food and catch-ups.
mom cooked up a great feast on cny night itself. imagine having over 50++ pple in yr hse.. actually didnt expect so many pple to turn up but luckily enough space and food for all:) i guess others wld have just catered food but mom's cooking is the best:)
seeing the little ones playing the limbo rock was so funny. haha. imagine little penguins strutting- super cute!!! the adults werent as flexible lol. i nearly sprained my ankle too. hehe.
balloons were bursting the whole night. i felt all the air and effort i used up in blowing those many balloons popping away too. HAHA>.<>
tht afternoon, my grandfather's sea cucumber was the best i ever tasted too. so yummy. i guess i hadnt had that since my trip to HK so i overdosed on it during lunch. haha. plus his signature muachee which always disappear quickly.
saw my newborn nephew for the first time tht afternoon too:) so cute. plus his elder brother is gg to be a ladies man in future i predict. haha. he looked so different now, with light brown hair and big brown eyes.

the next day and the 3rd, 4th etc day of cny was gg to different aunt's place for reunion. taking turns i guess. more excuse to talk, gamble, drink and eat lol.
i guess i treasured those days cos i know i wont be back for a few months to see my cousins and all when they usually come to my house weekly. plus less opportunity for sharkfin, abalone, yusheng and other chinese delicacies.haha. just tradition actually.

kat and her family visited spore again over cny. managed to meet up with micheal, robin and andrew at sakae this time. caught up a lot abt trinity days. dont all of us always reminisce abt the past? emm, it hard to look forward and feel optimistic though. maybe just me.

thanks to ben, i managed to meet new med friends frm the diff semesters. ;) was at glutton's bay on firday night, as we sat around the round table and having dinner. the chingay parade was on at the padang, so the atmosphere was indeed bustling. it was a really nice gathering even though it was our first meeting. :0

it all passed too quick.
2 days ago everyone was a year older le. haha.
yest. my dad ordered a whole roast pig like he does every year for praying. so my relatives were here ard midnight till 3+am in the morning eating roast pork after my dad disected the pig. LOL. he can be a fine butcher :) i was too tired and decided to sleep instead. besides, there was no chance the whole pig could be eaten up! :P

all the outings...sld slow down le. tmr another session of karoke, plus it's sam's birthday dinner. and there is still sunday's lion dance at my cousin's hse.
hope tht phyllis will manage to organise our class gathering this sat too:) plspls. i will keep my fingers cross most pple can make it:)

back to melb soon. i am counting down. 11 more days. i am not looking forward to the new term. all the lectures and tutorials...sighs. prob no more cny for me in spore since next year's cny will fall on v day. by then i wld be buried in my books back in melb. haha.
