one week since back in melbourne. busy with statistics and research methods lectures and tutorials. nearly 9-4pm daily. was kinda useful though. hopefully.. haha. but anyways, finally met up with my reseach supervisor and got the details for my project. dont wanna bore u guys with the details but baically is a "randomised controlled trial comparing a Video Laryngoscope wth the MIller straight blade larngoscope in intubating adult patients with predicted diffcult airways".
the fun part is that i get to tag along my supervisor when she goes into surgey:)going into theatre is surely much more fun than sitting in frnt of a desk doing reseach reiews:) i start this coming tueday.
which means i hav a four day weekend. fri, sat, sun and monday... and guess wat i have been doing..being really DOMESICATED and cleaned, vacummed my apartment. did the laundry and BAKED like 3 batches of muffins and cakes. i wld love to give some away but i always feel really wary of letting others try products tht come out of my kitchen. haha. i mean if i eat it is fine, but even if i think is nice, others may not find it so right? and then the "burden" wld be in their hands to finish it. haha. maybe when i am more confident of my baking skills then i can be like phey yee and "sweeteN" other people up!! HAHA >.<
ok, i had enough time in my hands to even make my own pork wonton dumplings:) and THIS i can say for sure THEY WERE YUMMY...so much fresher and juicer and perhaps healthier than those premade ones...sld i boast to say i made up the recipe myself?? :) haha... the parsley and miso paste certainly mad them uniquely delicious:) i wont be buying any premade dumplings in future!!!
sighs...i only tried making them today, wat a pity. sld have brought these for kelvin's potluck yesterday instead of the premade ones i brought there. :(
yup, talking abt the party, it was a blast:) thanks so much mel for hosting it for her dear kelvin. hehe... potluck was awesome:) harry potter n he goblet of fire was showing on tv and so i got to stare at robert pattinson!! LOL... but he is surely much better looking than harry potter right??? wonder why i only noticed him in twilight... hehe...
oh, and playing "twister" was so much fun! halirious as we tried to knock each other out of the mat. childhood games:)
realised many of us wld be gg to austin for clinicals next year, except a few, incld me :( sobs... hope st. vincent wldnt be too stressed... **fingers crossed**
watched the "harry potter" movie just the other day too:) movies two days in row before i get busy with my project. "the proposal" was kinda a let down but watching it in the half-pipe cinema on bean-bags was certainy an experience. except when thinking wat other couples hav done on those seats... HAHA... just realised these two are the first two movies i seen in melbourne this year!! how sad.
no wonder i go on movie marathon daily back in spore... to catch up! lol.
homesick le...:(
